Vegas is my first border collie and I am having a blast with him. I first held him just after his mom's c-section along with his two brothers. He was a typical mischevious pup and had his moments of me threatening to send him to the pound. But, I wouldn't trade him for the world! Vegas has his AKC and UKC conformation show championships. He is from a long line of show champions, but his mom broke the mold and actually earned agility titles in addition to her show championship. Vegas is following in her footsteps in grand style. He made his debut in flyall in December 2006, gaining over 800 pts in his first weekend. Vegas is a natural retriever and loves nothing more than a ball. Well, maybe a frisbee! He has done some competing in frisbee also, but that is on hold right now. Vegas is also in training for agility and loves it! However, he is such a nut that he will be 11yo by the time he is ready to compete! Vegas and I managed the rally ring at a local show and managed a perfect score of 100 and a first place! Whohoo! It was very difficult for him as control isn't his forte. And, he only barked twice during our run!!!
